Help me with this mod please...I am going nuts

I know its easy to you genious but a bum like me still cant figure it out...

Here is my dillemma and I need a solution.

I blocked off my picture section to only those who are logged in with the YABB SE cookie.   It blocks it well, but whenever they log in it redirects them to the messageboard and not to the picture section.  

So what I need is, when they click on pictures, the page will load up saying "YOU ARE NOT LOGGED IN, please do so"  (this is to the messageboard)  and then once they logg in. It says, thank you are you are now logged in "pecker"  and boom I put the auto reload page in the html code and the picture section is now open to logged in Members of the board.

HOW THE HELL do I do that?? LoL

I guess all I need is a way for the login to redirect to a different page cause I can figure the rest out, but how do I get it to redirect to a different page and give the cookie to those who are members and logged in?
