Registration Error

whenever a new memmber tries to register they recieve:
2: Failed to Connect
(\yabbse\Sources\Subs.php ln 323)

but they can login and everything works fine anyidea how to get rid of this error message?

I had the same problem and the solution that worked for me was this: in the "mod and settings" table, I  dissabled the output compression... and then everything worked fine!!

Actually, it looks like the issue is with emial. Disable the welcome email and make sure they can choose their own password.

I had the same problem, and by disabling the welcome email fixed the problem, now users can sign up with no problems!
