YaBB converter for a Xoops board?

I was just wondering if anyone has had a sucessful conversion from a YaBB board into a Xoops forum?
I am very interested in this.
Please? I did a search and there were users going to attempt this.... but have not read anymore on their attempts.

I believe XOOPS is using a modified version of phpBB 1.x.

Honestly, if I had the time I would - it bothers me when people refuse to offer assistance because someone is moving to a different product.  It's one thing if the person is a complete ass about it, but CP was quite polite about it.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I would love to use YaBB with my Xoops portal, but it just is not an asy option for me guys.
I want to be able to allow my users to only log in once to the Xoops portal home page, click on the forum link and it  keeps their log in info.
I like YaBB, it's the one tried and true board I use and come back to after testinfg others.
It's just that YaBB board are just that, YaBB boards. They do not offer the functionality of a portal such as post nuke or Xoops systems.
If it were up to me, I would never mess with YaBB and integrate it into Xoops if I could. I just do not know how to make the two work together.
   
Jedi, I understand what your saaying also but the people at Xoops don't seem to want to budge on the thought ....

Maybe I worded that wrong, I wasn't referring to myself, but that he probably wouldn't get too much help as I don't think too many supporters of YaBB would be so kind as to help out someone leaving YaBB, I could be mistaken though.

it is a general release.  It is already just as good as most of the other CMS'
