Installing on Windows 2000 server

I have read write execute and script authorizations,
but still I can't install, I think because the PHP script
using chmod command.
How do I install on windows 2000 server?

Couple of questions before we can move on. Are you using IIS or Apache??? IIS I can help you, Apache I can't help you. Also, is this on your server or someone elses who just has 2K??? I have YaBBSE on a 2K Adv Server and it is relatively easy to install. You can put your YaBB dir anywhere you want. Default is in C:\Inetpub dir.
What you do is go into IIS and right click on the server icon and select new>website. Put the path of your YaBB dir there.
Set the folders according to the install html. Right click on the folder and select sharing>websharing, choose what site you want to share it with and set permissions. Then run your install.php and hopefully it will work. It is very hard to explain but you will figure it out. Good Luck.

HI,
YaBBSE will install on a Win2k server.  My fist question is what version of PHP do you have, is safe mods on or off,  and is register_globals turned on of off.  If it is off you will need to make a few modifications to the install file.
