can't get past step 2 - lots of errors

Hi,

I get several pages of errors and warnings at step 2 - looks like some directories are not being created by the installer. Here are the first few error messages;

Warning: fopen("/home/sites/site4/web/yabbse/YaBBImages/avatars/Claudia_Schiffer.jpg", "wb") - No such file or directory in /home/sites/site4/web/yabbse/install.php on line 121

Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/sites/site4/web/yabbse/install.php on line 122

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/sites/site4/web/yabbse/install.php on line 123

Warning: chmod failed: No such file or directory in /home/sites/site4/web/yabbse/install.php on line 124


I have chmod 777 the directory, mySQL and PHP are up-to-date. I am running Linux on a RAQ3.

Any suggestions?
