Nice thing, Myiasis!
Couldn't that be used to jump to the just-written post after posting, too? (normally, you return to the start of the thread or the messageindex ...)

I could see a few places where that would be handy. Keep in mind though, I didn't write the code that actually creates the "jump to newest" (don't wanna take credit for that) -- it was already there just not really being utilized as far as I can tell.  Just add ";start=new" to any of the thread display urls and it'll work. Probably quite a few places that could actually be handy.

Then there is always the possibility that it was left out and not used for a reason. Maybe a developer would comment on why this isn't being used?

I'm with you on actually preferring to jump to my post after posting. I tend to not use the Preview too much (unless I'm verifying an url) then reread my posted message instead. Since we can modify, that's generally my preview. :)

Yes it works on 1.4.1, I'm using it.
