I am currently trying to convert from a modded SP1 to SE, and everything goes well except for the threads and posts which are not appearing at all!

Just some ideas:
  • you are using a non standard "Messages" directory name in the Gold version (the converter is assuming the standard folder name)
  • the converter is not allowed to read the Gold Messages folder
  • were there any error messages when you executed the converter? If so report them here detailled
