Size of Quoted Text

In the standard template (template.php), there's a css style for .quote which states a size of 9px (or thereabouts). Even if I change it to 12px (or 12pt or 1em), I cannot get the size to change in the quoted text inside a message at all.

Which means the size has been hard-coded in one of the php files, but if so, I can't find it. I've checked boardindex.php, display.php, subs.php and probably a few others, and still can't find where it's hard-coded.

Sometime or another, you guys need to go through all the php files and remove all the hard-coded colors and sizes and depend solely on the stylesheet in template.php file... it's a real mess for those of us who don't agree with your size or color!

And the use of px as font sizes has to go too. It does not allow the user to easily adjust the size of all text on a page at once (using IE, View, Text Size options). It breaks the Accessibility standards developed to help those with vision or other disabilities to access the web.

So... with that said... how do I change the size of the font used when someone quotes another message?

its fine when i changed it in my board
u must've done something wrong in the css code
maybe u missed the semi-colon?

.quote        { font-size: 14px; }

i used that and everything in the quote becomes big

and btw it still does work in IE if i change the text size in: View -> Text Size

It doesn't for me, at least not with IE6.

See my PM to you.. btw, I found the font size=1 in the english.lng file, that was the culprit.
