I think a mod that offers a recurring event on the calendar would be great. It would work like this:

You go to post an event on the calendar. It's an IRC chat that occurs once a week, on Fridays. With just one post, you could set it to recurr EVERY week on friday, and it would be added to every friday on the calendar. Or, you have a meeting on the 3rd of each month, and are able to set the even to repeat (with just one post in the events board) on the 3rd of every month.

Would a mod like this be possible?

definitely a good idea. makes it easier than the current way of doing a mySQL query. especially the peeps aren't as web savvy. (i could do the query myself, but i am a lazy person. hehe.)
