Where Do I download Yabbse

Problem Description:
I've been to the download section a few times already. But I'm overwelmed. Can somone tell me which file it is so I can install it on my php?

Well, that sort of depends on your PHP and whether or not it's in safe mode, but some generalisations might help:

If it's a fresh install, you need 1.5.5, which means yabbse_1-5-5.zip, yabbse_1-5-5.tar.gz or yabbse_1-5-5.tar.bz2 for the regular installer or yabbse_1-5-5_safe.zip, yabbse_1-5-5_safe.tar.gz or yabbse_1-5-5_safe.tar.bz2 for the safe mode package.

If in doubt, take the safe mode package because you can install that regardless of whether safe mode's on or off. It's totally immaterial whether you download the zip, tar.gz or tar.bz2 packages, but most folk take the zip because it doesn't need anything fancier than WinZip to unzip it.

NB You also need Post.php patch for 1.5.5, which must be installed *after* your main installation.
