IM error and /'s in topics !

Hey all... well i converted my board and about 25% of posts all have errors... but i can live with that for now.  However many topics have repeated /////'s in the topics...

also new topics are getting /'s put into them...

and also my IM messenger wont send messages... after teh conversion when you check your inbox and try to send a message all i get is:

It's because you have magic_quotes_gpc off, download and apply the apostrophe fix.
