I screwed up.

I have lost my SQL instalation and now I am stuck.
No i did not have a current dump of the data base but do have the files in the myswl\data directory.

Mysql just will not load anymore.

Is it possable to recover the board from the data files?

Yes.  Just reinstall mysql and it won't delete your old tables.
