how to avoid message deletion when subject is forgotten?

Hello I have noticed that when I forget to type a Subject for my new thread and I am told to go back because the subject was missing, my entire message is lost. Is this a bug? a caching problem? are there any solutions?

Check THIS thread out.  There's a great bit of advice there.  :)

Hello, thanks for the link.
As suggested in that thread I have checked the DISABLE OUTPUT CACHING checkbox on my forum just to make sure but I was actually speaking about THIS (yabbse.org's) forum, not mine!

The problem obviously remains on THIS forum. As far as mine goes I have noticed that BOTH WITH and WITHOUT the Disable Output Caching feature I still loose the contents of the message when going back from a "missing subject" error... so I'd like to fix that...
I am on XP IE6.

Please understand that this is an issue handled by the browser, not by the script. (except between caching on and off, that is.)

I totally understand, but should that prevent me from asking if anybody has found how to fix it?

Also does the caching option influence this behaviour in anyway? if yes in what way? the help file only says "this option makes your forum more secure", which doesn't really say much...
