I think that is a very good idea for a mod - Doesn't really make any sense to keep them...

One little issue though: When posting replies, people are still asked for Subject, even though that Subject will never be seen anywhere...

It would make more sense to not ask for subject on replies.

In the subject line it should already be pre-filled out. So it not really a problem... it's trival.

True, but some people may feel like editing the Subject field to something completely different, not realizing that what they enter will never be seen...

Well, if you have notification activated, it will show in the email message.
This is disturbing, because people tend to change the subject in something completely different, so you sometimes not even know what the original topic is about  :-\

(maybe you have noticed I changed the subject line too  ;D

Actually, I had a thought to make 2 on/offs, 1 in the admin center to turn it on or off, and 1 in the profile (if it's on from admin center) to let the user turn it on or off for themselves.....

I can probably do both, but the easiest would be the admin option. The other would take abit more work. My prefrence it is either on or off, but not both. Keeps the board codes more uniformed. I am working on a user censor mods originally done by robdownsouth. Making it 1.4.0 compatiable. Which allows the user to turn it off and on in their profiles.

It wouldn't be hard to make it work with 1.5.2

I'll work on it later this week. Right now playing catch up with some other projects due to an injury I had for the last 3 weeks.
