Color variations... I can do any color, those are just two I picked.

How about blue circle with orange text - use complementary colours. That would look really good. The text would stand out more as well.

The bottom one definitely - it's balanced with warmth/cold, it has good use of whitespace without making the text look like a dot in the middle.
