This may have been done before.

This is a super-simple little mod for YaBB SE 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 RC1 that implements the 'view all' feature that YaBB nearly has.

It will allow members to view the entirety of a board or message index with a single click.

There is a line in messageindex.php that hints at a view all feature to come with future versions, but it seems they forgot about it :-\

Anyway, i put this together this morning for my forum, and maybe other people can use it.

If it has been done before for YaBB SE 1.5, please let me know, and i'll lock the thread and pretend i was never here.

Anyway, use boardmod to install it and upload display.php and messageindex.php.

No DB changes required.

Our forum at http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse uses it, but you have to register to get on it (haven't got a demo board as yet).

The best I can do u is a couple of screenshots:





notice the 'All' next to the page indexes 8)

plz ignore the 'show solved messages', that was a different mod...

I think its good for small boards (like mine) where the longest post is about 20-30 pages, it lets me just read thought the post with ease, without clicking next every 15 posts. Which makes moderating a thread alot easier.

What a Cracker  :D

We've used this mod since YaBB SP1 - it was the first thing people asked for when we upgraded.

I am suprised the conversion to SE hasn't happened before now.

Hope some of you find it useful. ::)

a similar one for threads could be usefull, assuming people dont use it on threads with 1000 replies too often ;)

It includes one for threads - both the message index and the message display can be viewed as 'all' (see screenshots in post 3). ;)

Just installed this mod on 1.5.1 RC1 and it appears to be working correctly. I have not run into any problems as of yet.

Can I write an add on to the mod so it will show no more then 15 pages at a time? So that thoose woried about the "poor" server will have some comfort!
