errors on step three (detailed)

I had no problems during the installation, everything was perfect. I used the folder forums instead of the default yabbse and the table prefix of KT_

Now I go to run the installer. I make sure to specify the location of my YaBB forum (in a folder called forum) and enter the correct data for accessing the database. I make sure to specify the correct location of the new forum forums.

On step three I get the following errors:

I've spent the last half hour or so looking over old posts, but I can't seem to find out what is going wrong.

If I proceed with the conversion anyway, I get my categories over, and one board (though none of the others) and none of the members or messages.

During the stage that it would normally bring over the members it gives an error "unable to" whatever the members, for each username.

I look forward to any help that may be offered.

I deleted the forum and started from scratch... as far as I can tell I did everything the same way, but for some reason it worked this time.

Sorry to waste the space with a useless question :(

To me it seems that the php script is interpreting the contents of your "Variables" folder from the YaBB.cgi install different than what it finds when it goes to make the table.  I don't know if that helps at all.  Look there for a possible answer.

Thanks for the tip, but as I said (over a month ago now) I tried again and it worked fine.

I've had the forum up and running for some time now.

Thanks again for the tip!
