Sorry, I have no news on the zip (I don't have it either)

But you guys DO realise that it is a BETA version, don't you? I mean, it's not even finished yet, and you're complaining about bugs and security issues... It's good to state them so the author can fix it, but don't keep going on about it... ::)

I hope you can finish it soon, it seems like a cool idea, and I'd like to implement it as soon as it's out of beta...

Most of the time when BoardMod can't find a certain thing, I just open the file it is trying to mod up, find what is the closest thing (it's usually just slightly different) and change the boardmod file accordingly... ;)
It always works for me, and I have about 5 modded mods on my hard drive... ;D

I have the 1.1 version (for YaBBSE 1.4).
Grab it HERE.

Its a little buggy, but maybe someone can fix it now that the author seems to have abandoned it.

I have found a mod can protect boards (with a password), its for YaBB SE 1.5.0.

I'm so sorry about the long time I didn't work on it.
But now I have released a new version and fixed a lot of bugs.

And here you can download it:
Allowed User MOD 1.2 for YaBB SE 1.4.1

Allowed User MOD 1.2 for YaBB SE 1.5.0 comming soon! I still have to run some tests.

If you have installed an older version of this mod you don't need to run the au_updatedb.php - script.
It's not an update it's the full version. So don't forget to deinstall the older version!

maybe because as the mod says, it's for 1.4.1? or maybe because you have not added the db change?

This was a Bug in version 1.0 and 1.1. It's now fixed and shouldn't cause any Problems.

Well hey here you are. Hope you didnt mind that I converted the 1.4.1. Allowed for 1.5.1, I really needed the mod for my site.  Did you change your name? The original modscript I used to convert to 1.5.1 says:

You must have. No wonder why I couldn't find you! What version are you up to now? Are you ok with me porting the newest version to 1.5.1?

No, it's ok that you converted the mod. I think I will release my 1.5.x version in a few days.

No, I haven't change my name. I just had no time to work on the mod or to answer here. The only thing that has changed is my email. But the address registered in this forum should also work.

The current release number is 1.2.141 which mean 1.2 is the current Mod version and it's for YaBB se 1.4.1

And here is the beta-release for 1.5.0:

Allowed User MOD 1.2 for YaBB SE 1.5.0

The two versions are basically the same. They only differs in some board-dependent things.

A version for 1.5.1 I will release when YaBB se 1.5.1 is out of Beta.
