but this mod doesn't modify the index.php file.

check to see if you have installed any other mods that modify the index.php file

i installed it but i get this error when i do check instalation.

2: file("Packages/modification.mod") - No such file or directory
(/public_html/fc/Sources/Packages.php ln 712)

the hack also doesn't show up at least the hide button doesnn't

Urgh, Frost. If I were you, I'd either figure out how to use BoardMod and use that file, or else open up the .mod file itself, and manually apply the changes yourself. In my own personal experiences with the packages that some people get out, none of them work. :(

Did you upload the mod to your packages directory? The error you had was you didn't set up your yabb board fully with permissions. This mod shouldn't have any problems with yabbpak, anyway.

The packages are fine, it's your server which has a problem. Different servers affect the yabbpaks differently. That's why with my smilies mod, different people have different errors with the yabbpak, while some have no problems.
But I agree, use boardmod. It's a lifesaver.

is there a way to do that responding the message isn't necessary, and the text between [hide][/hide] can only be visible for registered members?

I thought I'd fixed that. So guests can see by quoting, not members? Easy to fix I'm sure.

Yes, unless I somehow found my way to an older (unfixed) version, they can.  I just installed it a few days ago and tested it with a guest account this morning.

It could well be that I did a bad install as well (manually).  I would appreciate knowing either way though.

must everybody reply to see the hidden text.. or are the admins en moderators always seeing the hidden text without replying?

My global mods must participate in the thread to see the hidden text.

I haven't tested yet, but I am guessing it applies to admins as well.

Of course, they can still quote/reply the message in question and see it that way if they want.
