need a LITTLE help....

theres about 15 or 20 questions, hopefully someone out there can help me...


in the forum index:

1). how do you make a moderator column?

2). how do you change the width of the columns on the forum index?

3).  in last post column, how can you make it just show the last person to post and the date?



in a forum:

1). how can I remove the forums description at the top?

2). how can i change the font of the pages text?



in a thread:

1).  how do i make the posters details column wider?

2). how do i remove the next>> link



in a reply/newtopic/newpoll:

1). how do i make the section wider

2).  get rid of add yabbc tags without removing the text area to post?

3).  remove lock thread after post?

4).  remove add attachment?

5).  remove topic review?



in members list:

1).  how do i make a black border around "viewing members..."?

2).  how do i get rid of the user name "admin" that is shown twice?

3). how do you make it so the posts bar is longer for people with more posts?

4).  how can you remove the email address for all the members on the members list?



in recent posts:

1). how do you make all the links white?

Ok alot of your questions are very simple, Edit the HTML in the source files. Remove or Add HTML where neccesary. and some of the other questions are just simply to go through the Forum Settings and Preferences and installed 'Mods' and Settings.

These are the files needed to be edited in order of asking.

boardindex.php, messageindex.php, display, post.php//poll.php, memberlist.php, and recent.php


But Im sure someone if needed will post a step by step instructions.

hey, thanks, but when i tried to edit them its was mostly little boxes and it was hard to find the code to edit...and suggestions?

Hehe a LITTLE help.....

You can remove the next>> link by shutting off the next/previous mod in istalled mods.  Same goes for the attachment option.

For the members list, the bar adjust based on number of posts in total for the board.  It is much more accurate than it was for Y1G.

also how come when i uncheck "Show YaBBC Buttons on Posting and IM send Pages?"  when you try to post or start a new topic there is no text area?

Is there anyone out there that i could give my FTP details too so they can fix all the things i need fixed for me?  PLEASE??? please let me know!  i'll make it worth your while.

also is there a way to change where you go after you post? i hate going back to the forum instead of the topic you post in...

some of the stuff i already did.  heres some more things:


1).  After you post is there a way to return you to the thread you posted in and NOT the forum?

2). Can you change the 'Jump To' menu to have the go button like in y1g because if i want to jump to the same forum i'm already in you cant with the current setup.
