Converting to YaBB SE and having problems.

I just converted my board from YaBB Gold 1.2 to SE 1.5.2.

I used  the conversion script and got no errors,  but had problems.  I have 10 categories with one board in each one.  All 10 categories were created, but 5 of the boards were not created., and therefore no data was put into them.  :(

I thought it might be a permissions problem, but I have checked file permissions and everything looks identical.

Any thoughts?

thanx,
yourmailan

Additional info, I also got all of the Member data, and the rules came across fine, only thing missing is 5 of the boards with their data.

No mods were installed on the old board.  It was set up just as it came.  Cannot see the boards when logged on as admin.  they are just not there, only the categories.

thanx,

Did the converter finish?  Perhaps it timed out...?

Try running it again...

Hello,

It said it finished successfully.  Also, I tried running it again and got the same results.  I even tried deleting the ones that were already imported and trying again.  What I got then was duplicate empty categories on the same ones, and all of the data wiped out of the ones that were imported before.

I am new to the PHP/MySQL stuff and have ordered a book to help me understand it better.  maybe there is a script I could write to have it add in the boards that are missing since I have a dataset with only those boards and categories in it.  All I need to do is add them to what has already been created.

I manually created the bords once the conversion failed for the umpteenth time.  Is there a way to manually import the data from the files I have with only those boards in a seperate directory on the same server?
