YaBB SE Quick Questions

1.  Can I convert my current Yabb 1.2 Board to YabbSE without losing data or members?  

2.  Has anyone seen a YaBB Portal out there?

Yes and yes.

Although the first one does depend on how many mods you have installed.... you can try it out, it won't do anything to your YaBB.

For portals... I know of a few.  The best and most up to date one I have seen is pfaBB, which can be found at:

The conversion works not so great for me! I have yabb sp 1.2 and the converter always says it can't find any of the files, I have my own personal redhat 8 server with the newest php software and everything, why isn't my yabb converting? I've followed all the steps correctly and nothing works.

Anyway the new SE installation is great! Its super fast and simple, what a great achievement by the yabb developers.
