Alternative zu Cookies?

Leider haben wir in unserem Board oftmals Probleme mit Cookies.
Teilweise ist es so, dass man immernoch Gast ist, obwohl man sich gerade eingelogt hat und in der Liste der Online User auftaucht. Dieses Problem tritt sehr häufig bei verschiedenen Usern auf und behebt sich dann von Wunderhand auch wieder.

Wir haben vorher die CGI-Variante eingesetzt und hatten dort einen Session ID Mod eingebaut.
Gibt es sowas auch für das YaBB SE??

Noch nicht. Session ID's kommen vielleicht in SE 2 (meine, dass ich es irgenwo gelesen habe).

ja, also zumindest hat jeff es mal zart angedeutet!

ich finde session-id´s ganz pasable so man den mod_rewrite auf dem pinguin zu laufen hat! so kann man die hässlichen 12 meter langen url´s in schöne kurze präsentable umwritern!
