[Done 1.4.0] Country Flags Mod

Sorry, I've been on holiday for a week.

* It feels weird on a PC without being on it for that long
* I feel dizzy right now since I just got off the plane
* I have 104 emails

I had some problems with this in 1.4.1.

First, the install for country_flags_with_display.mod, this is what I got during install.

Step 1 ... failed - ERR(1): Search string could not be found
Step 2 ... ok
Step 3 ... failed - ERR(1): Search string could not be found
Step 4 ... ok
Step 5 ... failed - ERR(1): Search string could not be found
Step 6 ... failed - ERR(1): Search string could not be found

Got to step 5 by fixing them by hand, but I don't have

Second problem that I had (only installed the country_flags.mod), when I went to change my profile (after uploading the Flags folder and the Profile.php file to the Sources folder), it gave me an error saying that it could not find the Profile.php file when it started to load the location box. Loaded everything up till that point.

Is there a way to see the cityfield as well?
So not only the flag, but also the cityname.

Yes, I am quite interested in seeing the City Location show up beside posts, not just in the profile, so I will check back here after you recover from vacation!

Hi, Installed the mod with the display.
I now get this error when trying to edit profile:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: modifyprofile() in /path/to/my/yabbse/index.php on line 184HELP!
 
I just noticed it is made for 1.4.0. Maybe I shouldn't have tried it o my 1.4.1?

Cool Mod!!!

I just had to add city and state, I had to do it by hand and researched what had to be done and decided to add city and state using your example "new to php" thanks!!

I have YaBB 1.4.1 and that's why I had to do it by hand!
I edited most of the new Modified Mod in the BoardMod files but didn't copy any of the old info that BoardMod should look for so they would not be much help sorry.  
Could zip up the new edited 1.4.1 files

Another edit I fixed add_city_field.mod it only needed one edit there is now a tad space in front of "$request = mysql_query("SELECT" in YaBB SE 1.4.1 if you don't have the time I could give you a hand with the rest with or with out state!

Hi, I am sorry, I am not sure what kind of contact details you need, however, I had to redo the changes because, aside from not able to view profile, I could no longer view messages either, problem with the Display.php, as I was trying the mod with the display.
I should also mention that I did a manual install, as the first and third steps in boardmod failed, aventhough the strings it was looking for are there, wierd. So I am pretty sure it's my fault.
I have copies of the modified files(Profile and Display) I can post, I hope that helps.

Hey I got working, the mod with display. Nice mod, I like it. Don't ask what was wrong, but I just had to re-edit and retype the modifications by hand.
I did notice some missing ";" and a " while modifying Display.php. Also in Profile.php, no apparent mistakes but I think it had to do with some white spaces or something.
Anyway, I don't realy know what I am talking about, but the MOD works, eventhough it needs some more work. I am happy, thanks everyone for trying to help.

Thanks, they probably changed some HTML in 1.4.1 to make it more compliant with W3C standards, so I'll look into the problem. This mod will be 1.4.1 compatible soon (it is now, but not with BoardMod, you have to do it manually).

Hey CyberMix.
My advice is go back to post #1 here, Mach8 posted the links for the MOD and BoardMod SE. Start the editing manualy through BM SE, but you should type in the changes by hand, rather than copy and paste, that's how I got it to work.

I'm sorry about the 1.4.1 incompatibilities, although with work it still works on 1.4.1. I've been VERY busy the past few days with coursework, and was supposed to release a new mod yesterday. I hate making promises as it's hard to keep to them with such a hectic workload, but I'll TRY and release that mod tonight... and fix this mod.
