[Done 1.4.0] Country Flags Mod

Version 5.0

This mod changes how the location field behaves, it changes it to a list of choosable countries. In users' profiles their home country and flag is displayed.



Changes in version 5.0:

* BoardMOD tags fixed
* Small fix in Display.php by DMiller
* settings.php reference changed to Settings.php in the database modification scripts

If you have already installed this mod (version 4.0 only) then there is no need to download this update.

Just tiny flags, doesn't really matter where, because you can change it easily.....

Okay, just got back from work, so I'm in the mood for coding

I'm doing it now, expect an updated mod later tonight (GMT)...

Okay, the mod now shows the flag under your username next to posts, it is optional.

I haven't the time to modify the Installed Mod Settings file, and add in the appropriate SQL stuff as I'm busy working on a CMS for my website which is urgent... but I'll try and get that done in the next few days.

If there are any countries missing that you would like to be added in (obviously tiny islands don't really matter, you can go to the nearest country) then I'll do my best to get a flag for it.

Mcguire, I probably beat you to it as I've had this mod made for over 6 weeks, just haven't had the time to put it into a mod format

No problem, anything for the community is worthwhile

I've remembered something you might have to do on a busy forum which I certainly had to on mine... you might need to set everyone's location to "none" by using phpMyAdmin, otherwise people who haven't logged on in a while will have a location that isn't in the country list, so their image will be a 404.

If you have no clue as to how to do this, or have no idea what I'm on about, post here and I'll make a short script that resets the location field for you.
