This mod is obsolete as of 1.4.0 as it is included in the official package.

Works great but maybe the alert message should be also added to the .lng file because now its hardcoded in English.

Oh, the alert is hardcoded? I guess I will post a new version of the alert one then, hold on a sec while I move the text to English.lng.

Alright, it now puts the text in English.lng. Download the new alert version and install that one.

I installed the mod... ran the db update...

refreshed... and was told I had 103 new messages...

ok here's an update....

I uninstalled the mod and now it says

"Hey, Nossie, you have 0 messages 103 "

I'm going to stop laughing now  

anyone know how I can fix this ? hehe

I think that if I install the mod on a working board it also counts the outbox. You have to visit your IM boxes and after that it should show the right amount. Worked for me at least.

yeah but the worst of it is... I cleared my im's out a few weeks ago and now only have 8 IM's in my out box lol

so where is it getting the other 90 odd? hehe

So is that amount correct? Because I think it needs for you to check your IM boxes for it to show the correct amount. And if you checked them that seems to be accurate

lol well first of all I'd like to state that the mod no longer exists... as far as boardmod is concerned I uninstalled it ... (which I did ...)

but before I did that... I refreshed to find 0 messages and 103 new...

so I uninstalled it in the hopes it would just go back to 0 messages..... but instead of doing so it came up "0 messages 103"

I checked my im box as suggested and deleted the 8 messages that were in the outbox

I refreshed and it now says "0 messages 0"

so the stats now work... but the mod should no longer exist...

so I'm either asking what to do to get the mod to work...
OR get rid of whats telling me I have 0 new messages

You ran the BoardMod and did upload the new files which are uninstalled?

yep....

I even uploaded the english.lng file twice just to make sure it had uploaded properly...
