[DONE][UPDATED][YSE1.4] Dont display avatars in posts option

Well here it is after a day or so delay (sorry about that.)

Just run the .mod using BoardMod and just upload the script to the same location as Settings.php, run it, if it says success, delete it. Upload your modified files and users now have an option in their profile to turn off or on avatars in posts. Guests are shown avatars auto, and avatars are enabled by default.

UPDATE: Just uninstall the old .mod and re-download and install the new one, no database changes are needed. This fixes a bug with guests while viewing posts.

Does this only affect the avatars or can users turn off the signatures of other users as well? I'm asking because a lot of my members have rather large pics in their sigs.

The script only works for avatars.

I have a mod planned already to do all that (avatars, sigs, etc) this was just requested so I thought I'd release this piece of the mod first.

You shouldn't have said that, now you might get a request to remove the sigs as well.

I must say good job though. This is a great mod, I am going to see about getting a board called the subchan to install it, they have been fueding about avatars being enabled and this would certainly solve the problem.

It will be going to some great use, now the subchan will finally have avatars.

They have been fighting over avatars for a long time because some think they clog up post space and others think it takes to long to load so this script should be a great way to help this.

They still want 2 more avatar things though, I am working on them myself though. The avatar upload script and there is a bug in the code which causes small avatars to be resized even if the limit is bigger than what the avtars size is. I hope to fix that bug with the avatar upload mod though, so it should be a 2 in one for the board.
