for starters I haven't a clue how to program in whatever the hell langauge you used! That might be the reason!

It's programmed in VB   (not in PHP!). Maybe rookie should make a setup-file. Not everyone has the vb6-runtime files

Course! It'll read your directory, and print the info. Simple really.

lol. Didn't even know my name!  
First of all 1.4.1 has to come out (although Smilies 1.5 is compatible with 1.4.1 and 1.4.0 also).
Then I have to finish writing it; I only have the read dir. working in 1 way of showing the smilies; default. So it's a case of when I do it really.

This is weird... My mod 1.5 installed via yabbpak just fine on my yabbse 1.4.1. But in the admin control add more smileys, I enter the smiley code, the smiley file, and the description. I hit submit and nothing appears in the edit smileys section. The fields I filled out become blank. I figured gee I must of entered the wrong file name, it didn't give me any errors but you never know.. Maybe the programmer didn't code it to display errors. So I tried it again, using the file name without the extension. Same results. My yabbimage directory is not within the yabbse directory, like the yabbse directory it is located in the http docs directory. Maybe this is the problem? My file/directory permissions are all set 777 for now, in the event that would of been the problem.. So it can't be permissions..

Any suggestions???

I downloaded and ran your program... worked great, added 142 more smiles in just a minute or two.
