[SOFTWARE]Add More Smilies - SE 1.5 from BigP

ok... first the mod works great!!!!!!! Thanks for your very very good work!!!!

now why i post here:

I wanted to add more smilies through the Admin center.. but when i wanted to add more than 10 smilies i get rid of doing that copy paste an so on!!!

So i just sit on my nice ass and wrote a software that do this crap for me!!

ok.. the software searches a folder for gif files show the the founded files in a list an then with just ONE click you can create a sql file that works with phpMyAdmin! So you can say that you want to load the file and klick ok and the rest will do phpMyAdmin for you! All the smilies will be added into the table!!

and that was it...now jsut upload your files to your smilies folder and ready!!

Now you are able to add more than 100 smilies in jsut a few seconds!!

so you can download the zip file!

ok.. i dont't know why you can't download!?

lol. There is no direct linking to file. When you get the error message; read it!

Then click where it says to download the file.
Anyhow, this is odd as you've just released an add-on for a new feature I already have working on my Smilies SE 1.6 for YaBB SE 1.4.1. lol.

Well mine just reads a folder (yabbimages/smilies) and auto makes description and code. Easy really.

Not quite what you did, but the same idea.

Since his 1.6 reads from directory and uses file names to auto describe and code the smilies. You wouldn't need any software.

lol - nah. I'd rather keep it all based in the script.

If you want an example of how what I mean, try out the quick smiley add feature. Simply add the name of the smiley pic when adding new smilies and the mod auto creates the description and code based on the filename. This is one way of doing it if you have hundreds of smilies and you don't wanna add 'em yourself! On problem is you can't give your smilies your own smiley code, like d:} etc.

yeah that own smiley code is the same problem with my soft.. i thought if i should make a version where the code is taken from the smilies name (sure.. without the filetype

)

And hey.. ths soft was JUST for myself! but why don't share?! so... i think there is more than one person which could help my soft! I NEVER thought to take this part away from your mod! Because how you right it seems to me like you have just a littel "LOL" for my soft! Yeah sure its simple to code, but why does no one did this before?!
