Problem Description:
Hi There

Is there any chance that anyone on this Yabbse forum help install Yabbse on my free lycos webspace or if you want to install it for me as i dont know how to

I Will one problem though i can only install Tripod YaBB so you will have to host with the american Tripod but i could do it this is tripod yaBB Website its mine check it out

homie doesn't even use YaBBSE, he is using YaBB a completely different thing.

To install it all you have to do is upload all the files via ftp then run install.php from the browser.

After it is installed, then you need to install the lycos patch so that it will work with lycos's redirection problem.

If you have any trouble during installation or using the lycos patch just ask for some help. :)

Ok i have done the install and the 2 latest patch files. Now do i need a Patch so Yabbse can run on lycos if so i dont have the link for the file or instructions on how to install it.

Also after i have insatall Yabbse do i need to rename or remove the install.php file and is there any other files i need to remove or rename

This patch will let YaBBSE run on lycos.

And yes, after the installation of YaBBSE is completed you should delete install.php.

Well if the boardmod program can't install the mod... you can always try doing it by hand... although I recommend backing up files before you attempt to do that.
