Without going through your source code line by line: I presume you're talking about the triangle thing at the top. I'd guess you have that running as a background image for a table cell. Try just plopping the graphic in the cell without running it as the background -- defining the height and width of the graphic in the cell as well  ... of course, that might screw up your stretching effect.

But that's what it's doing -- it's stretching to meet the screen size -- it doesn't repeat at 800 x 600.

I know its stretching, There are four cells along the top row. I want the third one along to stretch and none of the others to. So i've defined width and height for all but the thrid along which I havnt put any width or height sizes in. Why are the others stretching?!

This will fix it...

Find this:

<td width="45" background="../topend.jpg" height="183">

Replace with this:

<td width="45"  height="183"><img src="../topend.jpg" width="45" height="183">

I tried it and it works

yes. But I want It to go all the way along the top.

If nothing else works, I'll use that.

There's just too many image slices and tables everywhere!  I think the whole thing should be re-done, but it's a pain.

have you tried putting the image in a table cell like shaun suggested, but stretch the table all the way to the right, align the image to the right, then put a background image in that particular table/cell, either with html or css?
