Modify or personalize Notify + Im Messages to Email

I would like to personalize messages sended by email when a user receives an IM or update-forum notification.
There is also another problem, this email comes without FROM, so it looks like a virus. How can be fixed this problem.

I like the idea from personalized messages. Maybe this could be fullfilled in SMF.

you can just change the message sent in the .lng file... just find the current one and change it for what you want

I fixed the From thing once, I can't remember where.... but, I can tell you it's fixed in SMF.
