Jus wondering if anyone has updated the VB Style UBBC.js file for version 1.5

The version i had on 1.4 doesnt seem to work any more.

what was the DB stylle UBBC.js file like?

I have a feeling the changes would have to be made in Post.php rather than in the .js file

I have the vB style ubbc.js, I'll upload it later... it should work with 1.5.0, as I modified it to work with 1.4.1.

If you click a tag button it comes up with a popup, asking you to type in the data.

Example:

You click the BOLD tag.

A popup window opens, asking you to type in the text to make bold... you type it in, and if you have typed in some text then it will be added to the message text box, with bold tags wrapping it.

The traditional approach is you would click the bold tag and the tags would appear in the text box, you'd then have to type the text in between them.

Thanks, although i find the new YaBB SE method much better :) now you highlight the text, press the button and it puts the tags around it.

It won't work with 1.5.0 - at least in its current state. This is because the scripting changed slightly in 1.5.0 to allow for the new tag system.

Am I the only one who truly hate that method...?

I much prefer the YaBB SE:s normal method...

Yeah I don't like it either, which is why members on my site can choose between the old method and the vB method :)

I haven't upgraded to 1.5.0 yet.
