Hi,
I installed MySQL and PHP4.0 on a win2k machine.
Now, if I try to install the forum it says:
Notice: Undefined variable: step in d:\wwwroot\YaBBSE\install.php on line 53

Anyone can help ?

you have to edit your php.ini file thats supposed to be in the %windowsdir% c:\windows, c:\winnt, etc

you have to set error_reporting to something like
Quoteerror_reporting  =  E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

well ok, not really solves the install problems.
the next what is happening is this:

Notice: Undefined index: DOCUMENT_ROOT in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\yabbse\install.php on line 69

Install to directory: /yabbse

If I click on "Start installation" now, it will just end up on a blank screen.

I did create and CHMOD and I am running the actual versions of php and mysql on IIS5.

my PHP info if this helps:

If anyone could help, thx !
