i've posted a few times to show you the mod works (for me)
I've edited Display.php, everyone can see the ip-adress of a poster.

I use my ISP's (chello in the Netherlands) proxy server (212.187.37.13:8080). And it works for me :)

it appears as if it doesn't work with anonynous proxies but does work with normal ISP proxies.

ya, it doesnt work with secure proxies, only non secure, and when i say secure i mean anonymous. too bad, i wonder how we can make it to get the ip of user, i wonder if it could be done some how with say java scripting to get the info on the computer if that is at all possible

Why not just block the anonymous proxy server that they are using?

When using IPconfig on my computer I am told that my IP is (for example) 12.34.56.78

When using your mod my board reports my IP as 78.56.34.12

Using Apache I know that the IP given by the config program is correct. Is there any reason for this reverse order of numbers?

Can somebody make this mod for 1.5.1 Final??

Today i test behind a firewall, in my modded 1.4.1 Board it shows the IP, in YabbSe 1.5.1 it shows only "unknown"

Yes, if this could work with 1.5.1 it would really help me out. If anyone could modify it so it would work with 1.5.1 it would be great.

(One of my fellow admins actually wants to downgrade so this will work.)
