I have tested it with 1.3.0 and I had no problems. What error do you get? "Wrong password" or any other parse or script error?

Now it works, I don't know why, I think it's some cookie stuff...I deleted my cookies and after it worked.
The only "problem" is that, as an admin on my board, I can always check the password protected section, even if I change the password. I guess it's normal, or maybe it's also a cookie problem?

Anyway, that's a GREAT mod!! Thank you so much for sharing it! That's awesome! Thank you very gun crappity smackin' much.

as an admin or global moderator you have access to everywhere; independent from your config. This seemed to be the best way. If anyone has a better idea let me know!

ok i'll play gimp ... how do i run the .sql file into mysql ? ;) i'm used to php files doing all the database work for me

Ok got the Mod installed .. on a vanllia 1.4 board (no other mods installed) and its not working.  If I go to the Installed mod settings, the last option is to change the allowed user secutity, i set everything up how i want it (which users to which folders, all folders are marked hidden excelpt to members).  Click save, log out, log in as a normal user, they can see everything.  Wiping cookies and relogging in again didn't help, even guests coudl see all folders.

Would love the mod... after that is fixed (for the 1.3.1 Version) :)

btw I'm using ssi.php to show the recent topics on my mainpage... there he shows the messages from hidden/protected boards too :(

Everything else of this mod is great so far. Nice work

Did you set up your Database correctly? The MOD won't display anything, if an db- error occurs. Check that your table and colum names are correct and that the colums have the right type.

Saroun: You need to make a database updater because some people don't have access to stuff like phpmyadmin. Take a look at my mods around this board for examples of this. They update it for you by running a php script.

ok, here it is: I've updated the first post in this topic. You will find now a link to a script, that will update the db automatically. the other two links are updated too. But I've done no other changes!

I think it uses too many tables... The settings can be merged into yabbse_settings..

Works fine on 1.3
