Make sure that you edited the Admin file, and that you uploaded it to the right place. If you've edited the file and uploaded it, then it will show up.. Hrm

Boardmod din't gave any errors, i tryed it a few times again but no result  :-[

just go to your yse directory, create a dir named "smilies" and chmod 755 there :P

when im using my FTP program i cant save the chmod data there for some strang-ass reason

Which ftp program? As far as I know, all the major ones support something as basic as permissions...

Problem Description:
I'm trying to install that feature that allows you to add smilies but am having trouble. What does the following mean?: "Finally install Smilies.mod with BoardMod, and upload the modified files."

How do I do this?

Get BoardMod and use it to install the mod, then upload the files that BoardMod modified when you installed the mod.

If you don't know how to use BoardMod, do a search here and you will find some threads explaining what it is and how to use it.

when installing thois mod i get the following error.

2: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
(d:\websites\wickedmindz\yabbse\Sources\Subs.php ln 867)


any ideas why?

now, when clicking the add more smilies feature in the admin pannel i get taken tot he forum index page, any ideas why?
