Waiting patiently once again

I really wasn't able to do the upgrade anyhow as I didn't have myphpadmin tool installed but thanks to Ted I am ready to go now! Hopefully with some detailed instructions on how to install the upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1 I will be successful!

version 1.1.0 is down for the moment as JEFF forgot to include so things!

It'll be back up soon!

about the last thing, I have no clue! I never got that problem, and I also don't have profile.php file! I create a Usersettings.php in it's place!

You don't have to apologies Jeff you are doing a good job. I dont think alot of us can do the stuff you are doing right now. Good Job with everything.

On the plus side I started from scratch and everything works fine!

I am just trying to figure out the ssi portion of it now.

Thanks for all your help so far DKADAVE. I appreicate you letting me know.

I'll wait until 1.1.0 is re-released and see if that works out the issues and if not, I'll just post a bug on the bug tracker. We've been without it for a while and I'd like to get it fixed but it's not an urgent issue right now.

There should be 2 files

mysqlfix.php
and
mysqlfix.sql

must be installed into your YaBBSE 1.1.0 Main Directory!

And then run mysqlfix.php!

Hope this helps you all!

It also includes a part extra mysql part! I had no clue if it was needed or not, so I just included it!

Just wanted to add to what Nemesis! You don't have to appologize, cause I'm happy to just get the new version even if it's not working to good!

I'm working out some bugs, nothing major, just some sql errors! And some errors in the install.php file!

I fixed that problem in my mysqlfix.zip file!

Thanks DKADAVE! I am about to click 'Proceed' on the script but I dunno about the first step 'Installation Directory: /var/www/yabbse Create this directory first, then chmod it to 777!' Where do I create it? Also, about the MySQL Database name: that will destroy, the current database! That is not a option for me...

No, it just mean what directory your mysqlfix.php and mysqlfix.sql files are in!

In fact, as far I have seen, YaBB staff worries & put all their time & effort to make YaBBSE great.

But the few devs in the project, i'm sure is a _LOT_ of work for them to make this board bug-free & organice all.

Bad for the lammers that only are asking and not giving anything...

I really hope Jeff & staff don't take them seriously, because they do this for fun, and in the moment they lose interest, they will drop the project.

So, thanks guys & at least I understand this happens, good it was corrected quickly

I was glad that I was able to download the 1.1.0 version before it was taken off so I could help find some error's and bugs!

So I released a fix for the people who can't wait, like most of us! (Like me!)

This only fixes the things I've encountered!

But Jeff will be releasing the new version with all the fixes!

The mysql will not change previous tables it will only add!

But if you want you can download the new version of my fix! It will only add new tables to mysql which will fix your errors!
