For those of you upgrading, run the upgrade.php file that comes in the safe mode installs.

It should add the proper database edits into your database.

So.. is the maintenance release out? or not? i'm not sure if i'm up to date. last night i read your post saying it was taken down, but this morning the post has either disappeared or been buried, and this thread is at the top. Perhaps you could give us a status update? :)

Yeah yeah sheesh ;)

It is back up.  I have added the upgrade.php file to the safe mode packages so that people can upgrade their database.

For now, I suggest a mostly manual upgrade until we design something nice that will work for everyone.

I noticed there is still no instructions on how to do an upgrade in the zipped file.  

If I follow those instructions in the FAQ board will everything go smooth?

I now have phpmyadmin and I downloaded the regular version as I am not on a free server but a paid one.

I put the FAQ in the FAQ area for that reason and there is also an install.txt in the zip.

Follow the FAQ and you should be fine.  Did you not already update your database?
