Some of you may know the "old" button generator for YaBB-like buttons. Here's a new version for YaBB SE like buttons:

it's still in alpha, only lowercase english characters are supported, only very few icons and only the small YaBB SE buttons.
More will come if you like it ;) I'd appreciate any feedback  8)

EDIT: The cjb redirector still works, but tries to install Gator, a well known spyware. I'm sorry for that.

Thanks that is great! I wish I had access to that 2 days ago when I made a chat button for my forums, but I will certainly use your generator in the future if I need more. :)

although... maybe it shouldn't need icons with particular backgrouds?

Sure ;) I'll make them. Maybe anyone has the "original" YaBB SE icons without background? Would make it much easier for me ::)

Many thanks for that. I like it a lot. I would love to make my own german buttons with this button generator, with the texts that would fit to the language file.

Made some test buttons in german lanuguage, here the feedback:

the button is perfect if lower characters only

the button makes a break with the text "fixieren ein/aus" (lokks like superscripting the "/")

the same with round brackets; here the text was: fixieren ein(aus)

same problem with the german "umlaute"; for this button the text was: schliessen/öffnen

But the left part of the button isn't generated, when you want to make text only buttons.

  • Much more icons added (any missing?)
  • Text only buttons possible

You mean icons without the button background? Would be nice but is impossible with the script I use... anyway, I'll look into that when I got some more time ;)
