I agree with this (i'm surprised i'm not the only one), and I changed it on Y1G and i'm going ot change it again once the maintenace pack comes out

Why not use the exact same smilies as MSN Messenger? I don't mean the pics themselves, but the actually text smilies that bring up a pic smilie. That way it isn't as confusing as most people use MSN Messenger (while those who don't, just hate Microsoft, i suppose) but it makes it so people don't have to remember what smilies work where.

I don't agree. I don't use MSN Messenger and I don't hate Microsoft at all.

If I would write in the same arrogant manner, I would write: people who vote "yes" in this poll don't understand the problem.

But of course I don't write this.

Once more, seriously: don't change smiley codes. You'll mess up the board data by doing that in a board that has already posts using the old smiley codes. You will run into board data update problems that could be hard to solve. It would also affect the 1 Gold to SE converter.php

I suppose you have a point. Plus it doesn't really matter I guess as the smilies are right above the box I am typing in now, so who really needs to remember them

If it is not broke, don't fix it....If it can enhance or add, then do what you please, while taking care not to break it!
