I just changed the time formating in YaBB SE to use strftime instead of date.  This means that if you specified a custome time format string, you'll have to change it as the new function uses a different convention.

Details on the new conventions are in the help pop-up beside the relevant field when you go to modify your profile.

I even confused myself for a while to  ::)

I'd assumed they used the same format - had to look up the function on php.net

Are you telling me that the Profile Date Format will have to be changed for EVERY ONE of my users when the update comes out??

I'm just using the default time format code!

Uh.. I dont think thats it, but thanks. Actually I think its just because my current format is incorrect now that they changed the formatting. This is why I asked the question, will everyone one of my members have to change their time formats when i apply the update?

No - the only users that will need to change it, is the users who specify their own custom format.

All others will use the format specified in Settings.php - which you will have to change.

If you're really worried - you could make a small script that would delete everyone's custom format, resetting them back to the default you specify, and forcing them to create a new time format.

Users who never bothered to set a custom format won't notice the difference.

Why did I have to change mine, then? I'm sure I never touched the time formatting.
