Is this program helpful for others?

YaBB Board Color Helper

It is my first php program, hope there are not to many bugs in.  :)  Did that because I want to learn php and wanted to program something useful. And because I find it not that simple to make a new color scheme for a board, if one wants not to use the default colors of the installation. The idea of the program is that one can enter the color codes into fields and look how the board would look like using these colors, without affecting the template.html in the real board. Just for playing around with colors, if one is looking for a color sheme for the own board. And for understanding better, how and where exactly the classes "windowbg", "windowbg2" etc. are affecting the board.  :)

I think the framed interface is kinda crappy... it just doesn't work very nicely
*not much offense intended*

Personally I like the idea of a framed interface, although the dimensions could be tweaked :)

What does mean "tweaked"? Different defaults? Proposals?

Attached a screenshot how the 1st screen looks on my pc. Have a 15' screen only. Could imagine that it looks different on a higher resolution screen.

Mach den rechten etwas kleiner, damit die Tabelle links etwas besser rüberkommt. Und die Schrift rechts etwas "schöner" formatieren.
Sonst ist es aber erste Sahne !!

You have to make the right frame a little bit smaller that the table on the left looks better and "cleaner". The letters on the right needs to resize a bit.

hey I like that. well done.

here is something that might interest you as an addition to what you have already done. it's a little java code that you use as color picker and it displays the html for you.

I like omario's suggestiong - making the preview popup in a new window. That would let you design the interface outside of the restrictions the frame puts in place.
