subs.php fatal error

Problem Description:
Whenever I try to access my site, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /www/h/hullboys/htdocs/yabbse/Sources/Subs.php on line 769

I'm still kinda new at this, so I've got a pretty big learning curve ahead of me.  Can anyone give me some ideas on what I could do to find the problem and fix it?
