More Stats (than reality)

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.5

Problem Description:
When I look at the "more stats" info, it always shows more posts than were actually created.   Today, for example, it shows there were 16 new posts.  However, in fact there were only 6.

What's going on here, and how can I teach "more stats" how to count?

Make sure you are operating on the same time frame as your forum.  If your server's clock is five hours behind your own, then your forum's clock will be as well, unless you change it in Forum Preferences and Settings.

This could account for the stats area showing different amounts of posts than you think there should be.
