Great Software But 2 Problems

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.5
PHP Version: 4.3.0 to 4.3.3
MySQL Version: 3.23.x
Server Platform: Windows 2000, XP, or 2003

Problem Description:
When guest registers an agrees to terms then hits the REGISTER button they get this message

2: Failed to Connect
(C:\FoxServ\www\forum\yabbse\Sources\Subs.php ln 895)



And when I Attach a file bigger than 1mb I get

There was an error saving your attachment, please try again.

Do I need a host server  or is this FoxServer Winxp Base Ok ?

Its setup like this

File Attachment Statistics
Total Attachments: 0
Total Size of Attachment Directory: 0 KB
Total Space Available in Attachment Directory: 204800000000 KB

That is failing on sending out the mail. Make sure you have your php set up properly to use the mail function or set it to SMTP in your settings for the forum.

  Thanks Jeff I did have my php setup wrong.

But I still Have Problem With Attachments any Thing under 1 mb no problem anything over 1 mb still have Problem.

did Chage This To This but didnt help

Does your php.ini set a max file limit to 1MB?

It is set for 2m  How do i change it ? I found it in PHPinfo

Since 2MB is more than 1MB, that doesn't look like the problem here...

Ok after More testing I was able to zip up 1.98mb an attach it  , so it looks like my prob is the setting in php where it saids I have max file limit to 2M

How do I change that to a bigger mb ?

   Ok Want to Thank all You Guys for pointing me in the right deriction ALL FIXED.

It was php.ini file max_file size 2m
I went into Windows an edit with notepad to 99m

Now This Great Software Rulls  

I Would like to donate Money , But Before I Do , Maybe I just need to buy License .

What avantage is there to owning a License??

None at all unless you need to remove the visible copyright line from your forum pages, and probably none at all anyway now that SMF is replacing YaBB SE.
