I remember YaBB Gold having a mod to disable the <last edited blah blah blah> stuff when a post is modified.  Is there already a mod of this for SE?

There's 'Forum Preferences and Settings -> Show Modification Date on Modified Posts?', but that's global rather than only affecting admins.
