Board access mod

I remember reading somewhere about a mod that made it possible to set boards so that only members of a specific gender or adults could view a categories of boards.  I don't know if it was specifically for SE or on boardmod.com; for all I know there could be on for SE.  Any information or suggestions about this would be appreciated.  

Also a general question, it's not possible to set people into more than one group is it?

I think someone made a mod so that people could belong to multiple membergroups.  Either that or they were working on it...

I'll look and see if I can find the thread.
