Go into installed mods settings and options in the admin center.

Look for "Restrict attachments to member groups" and remove everything in that box next to it.

That will alow normal users to upload pics/files etc.

Don't worry about all the posts, everybody posts alot. Look at my post count "2950". Just 50 more posts and I am at 3000.

Well the name you register with is permanent and will be the name you have to login with. But you can change the name that is displayed by modifying their profile.

Do i have to have a email server to use the forum? I cannot find any FAQ about this.

I checked php.net for sendmail and mail(), but could not find anything wrong in my setup.

I do not have a email server, and therefore I always get "error message 2: mail().." and so on. (Like the one mentioned here earlier...

The PM's still go through, but the error message is unwanted. Is there any way I can make it look ok, without an email server?
