News: SMF is the next generation in forum software, almost completely re-written from the ground up, make sure you don't fall for cheap imitations that suffer from feature bloat!

3 Skins and button sets

Here is something I have been working on in my graphics application while playing around with it and thought these combinations looked quite nice.

However it wuill probably take a while in order to make the complete button set for all 3 themes, so I will only do it if there is enough interest (hence why I am posting this)

So if you are interested, have any suggestions etc. post

Suggestion as follows:

Maybe add a dark (grey or black) scheme & buttons. ;)
Otherwise, this looks awesome. :o

Well, I like to match my boards to my site designs but, for someone who's looking for a ready-made solution, I agree that these are *very* nice. If I have one slight doubt about the combinations, I'm not sure about the windowbg2 colour for the red theme, but that's neither here nor there when considering the set as a whole. While I've no idea how many folk are likely to be interested for YaBB SE boards at this stage, making the buttons would also enable them to be released as SMF themes in time and I'd certainly like to see them available! :)

I like the red one personally.

Although I do like [LC]Black Hawk's suggestion for black or gray onces. :)

These do look very nice. I'd be interested in using all three.

Yes I really enjoy that blue one.  Good for that MicrosoftvB look.

Am I allowed to compare this forum with others?  Is this one big dictatorship?  lol...

Somebody pm him a reminder. ;)

Though I have very good theme on all my forums, there's one I'd like to change. That green one would be sooooooo nice.

But maybe I can get that Skins Mod so all 3 can be of use. :)

I may have wrote the skins mod... but I don't know if it works with 1.5.5 or not, so your kind of on your own. :-X
